The routine in fullOrder, technique, and what to do about a retinoid
The order. Thinnest to thickest, every time. If you are ever unsure which of two products goes first, the one that runs off your hand faster goes on first.
Press, don't rub. Rubbing pulls at skin that has less spring in it than it used to, and it is also what balls a serum up. Press with flat palms and let it sink in.
Under makeup. Give the last layer a full minute before foundation. Of 587 people we surveyed, 57% said pilling under makeup was the thing that made them stop using a product. Almost always, that's a layer that hadn't finished absorbing.
Sunscreen. Every morning, over everything, as the last step. Nothing else in a routine changes the slope as much, and nothing in this one replaces it.
If you use a retinoid. Keep using it. Peptides are not an acid or a retinoid and do not compete with one. Use the serum on the nights you are not, or layer the cream over the retinoid to take the edge off.
On a dry night. Lay the cream on thicker and leave it. It works as an overnight mask; there is no separate product to buy.
How long before you can tell. Texture and hydration move first, usually inside a week. Firmness took two weeks to measure and four to measure clearly. Give it a full four weeks before you decide.
Using both linesOne serum and one cream, whichever two you own
You do not have to stay inside one line. The rule is the texture, not the name on the bottle: whichever serum you reach for goes on before whichever cream, and you only need one of each per routine.
The pairing we would suggest first is the lighter serum in the morning, under sunscreen and makeup, and the richer cream at night. Serum and cream from the Hybrid line were also measured together. Layered, the elasticity result came in at 148.21% of the serum used alone.
Two serums at once, or two creams, is not twice the result. It is mostly what causes pilling.
How we testPanel, lab, dates, and what we won't claim
Every Kurved product goes through a clinical user trial before it is given a sentence of marketing copy. The panel size, the laboratory and the dates are printed next to every figure on this site, not in a footnote.
Figures are panel averages measured on instruments, not self-reported. Your result will differ. These are cosmetic measurements of the appearance of skin, not a drug claim, and not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Kurved is registered in Korea as a functional cosmetic for wrinkle care and brightening. That designation applies to the Korean market.
