Advanced Peptide Rejuvenating Serum

I actually really love this serum! It's extremely lightweight and watery, which I usually prefer over a heavy serum, so it feels sooo good and cooling on the skin.Aside from being very hydrating, I love that it includes peptides which keeps my skin very smooth and plump! I have visible smile lines but using this a couple times a week has been a game changer for smoothening them out so they aren't as prominent.Packaging is also nice since it's a twist & push dropper which is way better to me than the typical squeeze top droppers.Overall, this is a lovely serum that keeps my skin hydrated and happy, which gets an A+ from me!

I was excited to try a peptide serum, but then I took a closer look at the ingredients and was disappointed. The concentration of the copper peptides is almost negligible at 0.0011 PPM. You can't call really call this a peptide serum if there's literally almost nothing of the sort included. It's not at a significant concentration to have any meaningful impact or benefit. If they called this maybe a gentle exfoliating and brightening serum then I'd be pretty happy with what I got as the PHA and niacinamide are quite high on ingredient list, along with glycerin,.which all work together to hydrate and gently exfoliate without irritation. PHA is a great alternative for folks who can't use stronger exfoliants like glycolic acid.I do like this is not scented without added fragrance or essential oils and has a pretty low chance of causing irritation too. It's lightweight and absorbs nicely and layers fine. So all in all, it performs well. It's just not a peptide serum and I don't really appreciate the deceptive marketing in that sense.The $45 price is a little high for what you receive, especially with there being barely any peptides included. There are plenty of PHA and niaciamide based serums that work just as well for less and you don't get the misleading marketing along with it.

Because of that, I wouldn't choose this specifically if my main goal was getting a strong peptide treatment for firming or wrinkles.For me, this works much better as a lightweight hydrating and smoothing serum. A little goes a long way, and the dropper-style dispenser is also really nice to use and gives the product a more premium feel.Overall, I like this serum and will continue using it. The hydration, smooth texture, gentle exfoliation, and easy layering are all positives for me. I just think the product makes more sense as a hydrating resurfacing serum than as a true advanced peptide serum.
